ABOUT THE JOURNEY COLLEGE

Mission Statement: The Journey College is a ministry of The Journey Church in Avon, IN and exists to develop, train, and send students who are called to plant, lead, and serve at multi-ethnic churches through practical, hands-on experience coupled with a degree from Southeastern University.

Develop: We believe that education is far more than books, classrooms, or even hands-on experience.  At The Journey College, we want to develop students holistically – intellectually, practically, and as a maturing follower of Christ.

Train: We believe that graduates who are best equipped to lead will be those who have had a combination of classroom training and hands-on experience.  At The Journey College, students will get both from day one, positioning them for future success.

Send: We believe that the work we do is not for us, but for the Kingdom.  It is our heart that our graduates will lead the Church of the future, one that reflects Revelation 7:9 where people of diverse backgrounds will walk, work, worship, and even weep together as one, in the name of Jesus.
